When Alvar moved to the surface, most medusae — who were summoned to serve — followed, but a small faction remained, fractured by internal conflict, as if their many serpent heads whispered dissenting thoughts. Enatee, one of these early dissenters, resents life above ground. Vengeful and cunning, she quietly sows discord among her kin, drawing more medusae to her cause, one whisper at a time.
