Martyr Tho
The schismatics experimented with various methods of warfare involving channeling power through a summoner’s heart. Tho agreed to become this “weapon”, bringing down a bastion but sacrificing his life in the process. His bravery earned him respect enough to be resurrected via a modified necromantic ritual that replaced his heart with an alchemical apparatus. Only partially successful, it stranded him in a liminal state between life and death, his soul trapped in a body sustained by mercury.
